Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is hiring a Cook at Laurel Glen at Stephenville Assisted Living & Memory Care. You will prepare à la carte items, monitor stock, and ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen while serving residents with warmth and care.

Experience in a commercial kitchen and ServSafe certification are preferred, along with ability to work with dietary needs and to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler's permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
