Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility, following planned menus and recipes while ensuring quality, taste, and presentation.

You will uphold food safety standards, assist with inventory and ordering, and interact positively with residents, staff, and guests to deliver excellent service. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, state sanitation training, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Strong communication with residents, administration, and staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State/County law.
• Residency within the service area required.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required
