Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is looking for a committed individual to join us at The Sheridan at Eastside. The role focuses on preparing high-quality meals for residents, guests, and staff while ensuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are met.

A successful candidate will have experience in production cooking, effective communication skills, and a willingness to obtain food handling licenses. The position offers competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets is preferred.
• You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• You have and/or are willing to obtain the necessary food handling and sanitation licenses.
• You have basic computer skills. Entry level proficiency with Excel and Word is required.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
