Job summary

Ridgeview Place Senior Living in Sauk Rapids, MN is seeking a part-time Cook to join our dining services team. You will prepare nutritious meals while focusing on quality, appearance, cleanliness and sanitation, and you will build meaningful relationships with residents.

The PM shift runs 10:30am–7:00pm with E/O weekend and holiday rotation, and the starting wage is $18/hour depending on experience. Prior restaurant or healthcare experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or restaurant setting.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare resident meals per care plans with focus on quality and appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas.

JOB SUMMARY:

Cooks ensure that resident meals are prepared per residents’ care plans, focusing on quality, appearance, cleanliness, and sanitation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience serving within the restaurant industry and/or in a customer service role. Experience as a Cook within a healthcare setting is highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand directions.
• Able to interact professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
