Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, California is seeking a Cook to help patients, staff, and visitors by preparing delicious and nutritious meals, including therapeutic diets, to support well-being and recovery.
You will follow menu guidelines, use kitchen equipment, monitor temperatures, prevent cross-contamination, maintain hygiene, and ensure proper labeling and storage. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of food service experience are required.

Every day you willprepare and serve food according to menu guidelines and dietary requirements, utilizing various kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and grilles.You will be expected tometiculously follow healthcare foodservice industry standards, including monitoring food temperatures, preventing cross-contamination, adhering to personal hygiene, and maintaining precise labeling and storage of all food and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you willhave a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of foodservice experience.You must demonstrate a strong understanding of safe cooking techniques, food allergies, and relevant food preparation laws and regulations. The ability to perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation in cooking and serving areas is also required.
