Job summary

Avantara St. Cloud is seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our memory care nursing facility. We offer same day pay and flexible shifts, with AM 5am-1pm or PM 11am-8pm, to support residents' daily meals according to dietary needs.

As a cook, you will prepare meals, ensure food safety, monitor temperatures, and keep the kitchen clean. A high school diploma is required; skilled nursing foodservice experience is preferred, and we provide opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits

As a Cook you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work to ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara St. Cloudby ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Job Type: Full-Time

AM Shift: 5am-1pm

OR

PM Shift: 11am - 8pm
