Job summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey is seeking a food service team member who prepares food for patients, staff and catering, and maintains a clean, organized work area while delivering prompt, courteous service.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in quantity food prep and cooking, a High School diploma or GED preferred but not required, and a starting hourly rate of $17.64 with a schedule Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm and 10:30am–7pm every other weekend.

• In absence of supervisor, assumes responsibility of the Person in Charge over food service employees, monitoring daily activities per regulatory guidelines.
• Works under general supervision performing routine assignments and refers unusual or difficult situations to the immediate supervisor.
