Job summary

The Plaza Assisted Living in Pearl City is seeking a friendly Cook to join our culinary team in a Casual Hire role. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents in a supportive, daytime kitchen environment.

Follow state sanitation rules, work with a collaborative dining team, and contribute to a positive dining experience while enjoying daytime hours and a stable work schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience with a solid command of kitchen safety and food sanitation rules.
• Dependable team player with strong time management skills and effective verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality regular and modified meals following state sanitation and healthcare regulations (HAR Title 11, Ch. 12 & Ch. 90).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate efficiently with the dining team to ensure timely and smooth meal service.
