Compensation

USD $18.00 - $21.50 /Hr.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu, while utilizing standardized recipes.
• Ensure that food prepared is of proper quantity and in accordance with established time schedules.
• Utilize correct portion control utensils during the preparation and duration of food service to ensure proper quantity of food.
• Check and maintain proper food temperatures during food preparation and services, recording those temperatures according to policy.
• Ensure that an adequate supply of food, supplies, etc. are available at all times and report inadequate stock levels to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Food handler’s permit required.
• English proficiency: speak, understand, and write fluently.
• Reliable transportation required.
