Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Food & Nutrition Cook to join its patient meal service. You will be responsible for enhanced preparation, cleanliness, and organization of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department, delivering excellent service to patients and employees.

You will follow recipe specifications, read production sheets, and forecast needs; maintain safety and confidentiality; support the facility's mission and values while providing quality

Qualifications

• High School Degree / Equivalent.
• 1 year of cooking experience preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food per recipe specifications for patient lines, retail areas, or events.
• Read production sheets and forecast production needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the department.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
