About the Role

As a Cook, you’ll prepare meals that meet the nutritional needs and personal preferences of our residents while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. You’ll work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where your creativity and passion for food will make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus, dietary restrictions, and portion control guidelines.

  • Ensure meals are served attractively, on time, and at appropriate temperatures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Monitor and properly store food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

  • Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special dietary needs and resident preferences.

  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and rotating stock as needed.

  • Build positive relationships with residents by incorporating feedback into menu planning.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related setting preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations.

  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and meal plans while maintaining quality and consistency.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
