Job summary

Sagora is seeking a Cook for its senior living communities in Mobile, AL, to deliver high-quality meals in independent living, assisted living, or memory care settings. The role emphasizes resident-first service and teamwork within a fast-paced kitchen.

You will ensure food safety, stock management, and sanitation while following menus and recipes to meet residents’ expectations daily.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and FoodHandler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
