Job summary

The Waters is seeking an Experienced Cook to join our TEAM. A Cook prepares and assists with food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our residents, following specific dietary restrictions.

As part of the dining services team, you will ensure sanitation, safety, and quality, follow written instructions, and maintain a professional, empathetic attitude while serving elders and others in our care.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or equivalent
• One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred
• Must have a sanitation certificate
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures

POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Some experience in institutional cooking.
