Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for residents in a compassionate, safe kitchen environment.

You will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation and safety, and support dietary needs while working with a collaborative dining team. This role offers full-time hours and benefits in a supportive senior living community.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes, menus, and portions.

• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Assist with inventory, labeling, and rotation.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and portion guidelines
• Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
• Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas
• Assist with inventory, storage, labeling, and rotation of food items
• Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices
