Job summary

Brookridge Heights, a Sonida Senior Living community in Marquette, MI, seeks a Cook to craft delicious, safe meals for residents and contribute to a hospitality-driven dining experience.

You will collaborate with the Dining Services team, plan meals, and ensure quality and timely service while adhering to safety standards and dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Has a passion for cooking and preparing quality meals.
• Understands the importance of food safety and sanitation.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Ensuring meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assisting with meal planning, food preparation, and special dietary needs as assigned.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work environment.
• Monitoring food supplies and communicating inventory or equipment needs.
• Working collaboratively with the Dining Services team to provide an exceptional experience for residents.
• Following all company policies, food safety standards, and applicable local and state regulations.

What You'll Do
