Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Marion, OH, is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals that support residents' health and wellbeing.

You will ensure food is prepared to safety standards, assist with inventory, and supervise dietary staff when the manager is unavailable, delivering a positive dining experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for residents and families.
