OhioHealth is seeking a dedicated food service teammate to prepare hot and cold foods for patients and retail guests. You will follow production sheets and standardized recipes while documenting safety logs and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas.
Responsibilities include proper use of convection ovens, grills, fryers, knives and mixers, along with other duties as assigned. The role requires reading/writing, basic math, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsible for the preparation of hot foods for patients and retail customers. Is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and orderly appearance of equipment and work area.
Additional Job Description: Must be able to read, write, understand verbal/written instructions and be able to perform basic math calculations. Must be able to learn and understand safe and sanitary food handling techniques as well as modified diets. Preparation of hot food items in large volume. Proper use of convection ovens, grills, fryers, knives, and mixers. etc. Creative food garnishing techniques. One year food preparation experience preferred.
