Job summary

Calibrepa in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in accordance with applicable standards and the Dietary Services Director's guidance, ensuring quality food service at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES include following planned menus, standard recipes, therapeutic diets and substitutions, preparing appetizing meals, and maintaining sanitary practices inside the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' dietary experience required, preferably in an acute or long term care environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of Food Safety/Sanitation course required

  • Prepares and serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
  • Prepares food in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as with established policies and procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the preparation of food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the (Asst) Dietary Services Director, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
