Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents, following recipes and dietary guidelines and safety standards. You will support the Food Service Manager with inventory, ordering, and food storage to minimize waste and maintain freshness.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED/HSE and 1–2 years cooking experience preferred; on-site location at The Meadows of Ottawa, OH. You will help create a positive dining experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1-2 years cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.

Position Overview
