Job summary

Sagora Senior Living’s Caydance community in Katy, TX is hiring a Part-time Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings. You will work in a team-focused kitchen, follow established methods, and serve meals with warmth and courtesy.

Requirements include one+ year experience in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe Certification and a Food Handler’s permit.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, storage, and work areas.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals promptly and in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist with training of Culinary team members.
