Job summary

First Watch in Jacksonville, FL is hiring cooks to join our Back-of-the-House team. We offer a no-night-shift schedule, a fully chef-curated menu, and a YOU FIRST culture that puts people first every day. You’ll work to provide exceptional breakfast, brunch, or lunch experiences for our guests.

You’ll train in a station based on your comfort and innate skill, collaborate with teammates, and follow recipes to ensure quality dishes while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to following recipes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items on station according to recipes.

About The Position

Our Back-of-the-House team members have a mutual respect for quality food, and they perform their responsibilities as if placing a personal signature on every plate. Newly hired cooks will train in a specific station based on their comfort level & innate skill. In other words, you don’t need to master the art of flipping an egg to work at First Watch (unless you want to!)
