Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Cook for Lynridge of Huntsville to prepare high-quality meals for residents in a fast-paced, team-focused setting. You will handle a la carte items, monitor inventory, and help keep kitchens clean and organized while ensuring friendly service.

Must have ServSafe Certification and a Food Handler’s permit, with excellent verbal and written communication to interact with residents and coworkers. Equal opportunity employer.

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
