Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Huntington Beach is hiring part‑time cooks for our full scratch kitchen. The role focuses on crafting fresh, high‑quality meals for residents and guests in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have line cook experience, 2–5 years on a busy line, and a friendly, service‑oriented approach. We offer $18.50–$19.50 per hour, medical/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, and opportunities to grow within our supportive senior living communities.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant.
• 2 to 5 years on a fast-paced line or prep cook line.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner.
• Friendly demeanor when communicating with staff.
• Passionate about service and creating exceptional food experiences.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents and guests in a senior living setting.

What We Request

• Line cook experience in a “Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant”
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast‑paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID‑19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
