Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure food quality, safety, and presentation while following planned menus and recipes.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, possible ServSafe certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. COVID-19 vaccination compliance and residency within the service area are expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by State/County law.

• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required
