Job Summary

Responsible for the quality, quantity, and timeliness of that day's meal production. Prepare food in accordance with Parkhurst recipes, standards, and procedures under sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce the “batch” cooking method.
• Ensure quality and proper quantity of food during the service period using production sheets.
• Maintain proper line presentation, including appropriate pans, garnishes, and utensils; ensure products are at correct serving temperatures as specified.
• Coordinate with line servers regarding information about food items daily.
• Complete daily production sheets and ensure all items are properly stored and dated.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when utilizing leftovers and follow the cleaning schedule using "clean as you go" techniques.
• Communicate with management about products and supplies needed; maintain personal hygiene and wear the uniform as required.
• Adhere to Parkhurst Gold Standards and Smile Plus hospitality imperatives; assist team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
