Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team, creating nourishing meals from scratch with fresh ingredients. You’ll contribute to the Gold Leaf Dining experience that sets high standards for atmosphere and quality, while supporting residents with attentive service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide high-level culinary service and professional interaction with residents and associates.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment, be organized, flexible and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on assistance with dietary needs and fulfilling special meal requests when needed.
• Preparing meals from the menu plan and assisting with the service of the meals.
• Maintaining cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspecting work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet applicable food service standards and regulations.
• Following safe work procedures including injury prevention, food safety, and infection control.
• Properly labeling and dating all food in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

The culinary team enhances Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining experience, which sets a high standard for atmosphere and food quality.
