Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is seeking cooks to prepare meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff at Mercy Fairfield. Shifts include day, evening and night, with competitive hourly pay of $18.00.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with a background check and eligibility verification required. Under supervision of the chef/production manager, you will follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and keep the work area organized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Must practice good personal hygiene.
• Be neatly groomed and in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow cleaning procedures.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
