Job summary

Charter Senior Living in Dartmouth, MA is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. Pay starts between $18-$22/hr and there are no late nights, offering a positive, resident-focused work environment where meals bring comfort and connection.

As part of our team you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals that support residents' health and wellbeing, while delivering hospitality and a welcoming dining experience every day.

Qualifications

• Previous cook, line cook, dietary cook, or culinary experience preferred.
• Senior living, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality experience a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to prepare meals for large groups efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Compassionate and service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and organized environment.
• Food safety certification or culinary training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

As a Cook at Charter Senior Living, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals that help residents feel at home while supporting their health and wellbeing.
