PACS is seeking a cook to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor in a healthcare setting. You will prepare meals in large quantities, follow menus, and ensure food safety and sanitation.
This role requires teamwork across departments and flexibility in supervision when needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least one year of hospital or long-term care cooking experience, with ServSafe certification preferred and PHealth compliance.
It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. He/she is reports to the Dietary supervisor.
This job has supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent. Should have experience as a cook in a hospital or long term care facility for not less than one year.
