Acadia Healthcare is seeking a kitchen professional to implement menus and coordinate meal preparation and service within our facilities. You will cook according to approved menus and supervise staff, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.

You will work with leadership to keep menus varied, balanced, and appetizing while managing inventory and coordinating food production and maintenance activities. This role supports patient and staff nourishment within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification is preferred.

Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

• Work with Food Service leadership or Dietitian to ensure menus are varied, nutritionally balanced and appetizing.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Additional education or training in the culinary field preferred.


• Two or more years’ experience in food service role in preparing food for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state, facility.
