Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals in accordance with approved menus and mealtime schedules.
• Record client/staff meal census.
• Maintain health department standards and sanitation, including gloves/hairnets/caps at all times.
• Prepare requisitions for food and store deliveries.
• Receive and store deliveries properly.
• Ensure equipment is in good operating condition and temperatures are safe.
• Label and store leftovers per safe handling requirements.
• Complete documentation on provided forms; collaborate with staff as needed.

Position Summary:Person in this position will assist in the provision of meals. Essential Job Functions include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Essential Job Functions:Prepare all meals in accordance with approved menus, meeting mealtime schedules.Record client/staff meal census.Maintain high (Health Department) standards, cleanliness, sanitation, including the wearing of gloves and/or hairnets and/or caps at all time within food preparation and serving areas.Prepare requisitions for food and commodities as needed.Receive and store all deliveries properly.Assure that equipment is in good operating condition and that temperatures are within proper standards. Be constantly aware of fire and safety hazards.
