Job summary

Sodexo Live at Franklin Park Zoo is hiring a part-time cook focused on team collaboration and fresh, flavorful dishes. You’ll prepare and present hot and cold items, adapt to daily specials, and keep customer service at the forefront of every shift.

Varying shifts and open availability are preferred. Prior food-service experience helps, but a positive attitude and reliability matter most. The position offers a flexible environment with benefits and opportunities for growth within Sodexo Live.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related food service experience is beneficial.
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, may include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
