Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time dining services team member to prepare and serve meals for residents in our community. You will follow pre-planned menus, maintain food safety, and ensure attractive plate presentation.

The role emphasizes resident dietary needs, high hospitality standards, and collaboration with staff to support events and daily dining operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Six months of experience with cooking and baking from scratch in a commercial setting is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Developed organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and demonstrate good judgement.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: Part-Time, 6am-2pm & 11am-7pm

Responsible for preparing and serving planned menu as well as maintaining quality standards in the dining services department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare tasteful, nutritionally balanced meals based on pre-planned menus
• Prepare meals with consideration of resident preferences and food safety standards
• Responsible for ensuring pleasing plate presentation for all meals

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education and Experience
