Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team, delivering high-quality meals in our senior living communities. You will prepare hot and cold items across grill, sauté, and salad-bar stations, following standardized recipes and serving line protocols.

Ideal candidates bring prior senior living or hospitality experience, strong organization, and attention to detail. Weekend availability is required; we offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in senior living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items on grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving per menu cycle and recipes.
• Taste and assess quality and palatability of dishes.

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
