Job summary

Crystal Care Center of Ashland is seeking a Cook to join our Dietary Team in Ashland, OH. The role centers on preparing meals in line with federal, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures to guarantee high-quality food service at all times.

As a Cook, you are entrusted with the authority, responsibility, and accountability to perform your duties. This position is full-time, offering benefits such as bi-weekly pay with Daily pay options, PTO starting day one, 401k, holiday pay, and

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education.
• Must be at least 18 years old in age.
• One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary).

PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB POSITION:

The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.

As Cook, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Education

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education.
• Must be at least 18 years old in age.

Experience

• One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary).
