Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a dedicated Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow approved menus, maintain food safety, and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with state vaccination policies. ServSafe or Food Handler certification is preferred; we value teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Positive attitude and communication with residents, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• May need to complete sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within service area required.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• May be required to complete an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area required
