Woodland Estates Senior Living in Denver, CO is seeking a Cook to join our caring team. The role supports nourishing meals for residents in a senior living setting, following our menu and nutritional guidelines.
You will maintain a clean kitchen, adhere to infection control, and work with the Culinary Lead to ensure safe temperatures, proper storage, and timely service. Flexibility for early or evening shifts may be required.

Maintain a safe culinary environment in the facility using strict infection control procedures.
Kitchen and equipment will be clean and organized at all times. Safe food temperatures willbe maintained at all times according to regulations.
Dishes will be cleaned and properly stored after every meal.
Follow the provided food menu for nutritionally sound meals, with the needs andpreferences of the residents kept in mind.
Contact the Lead or Resident Services Manager to assist in Health Department inspections ifthey occur on your shift.
Prepare and offer nourishing meals and snacks using as many non-processed foods aspossible.
Report shortages or needs of snacks or meal ingredients to the Culinary Lead.
Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to Culinary Lead immediately.
May be asked to take extra shifts or help with special occasions.
This may include earlymorning or evening hours.
Must have 2+ years experience as a Cook.
Must be able to write, speak, and read in English.
Cook/Dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care home or other related medical facility is preferred but not required.
Experience in cooking a variety of food in large quantities.
Food Handlers or Serv Safe certification.
Experience with food preparation and nutrition.
