Job summary

Brickmont at Roswell, a Claiborne Senior Living managed community, is hiring a Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for residents and support a safe, organized kitchen environment.

You will follow standardized recipes, assist with inventory, and work with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service, while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with safety guidelines. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and portion guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies.
• Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas.
• Assist with inventory, storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
• Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service.
