The salary range is $97,052.80 - $107,000 annually, contingent on qualifications. This position also includes a commitment to transformative justice and community safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing criminal attorney.
• Experience with legal research and trial experience.
• Knowledge of Virginia criminal law.

Responsibilities

• Review cases for potential DNA testing and wrongful convictions.
• Train the office on reliable forensic sciences.
• Handle expungement petitions and FOIA requests.
