Job summary

QXO is hiring a CDL truck driver to support our nationwide distribution operations in Mesa, AZ. You will perform touch-freight tasks, pre-inspect trucks, load materials, and verify loads while staying in compliance with DOT safety procedures.

You will communicate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries and help maintain a safe loading/unloading environment. Qualifications include being 21+, holding a valid Class A or B CDL, and 12+ months of verified driving experience; conveyor experience

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Conveyor truck experience preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and manual transmission trucks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
