Job summary

Daifuku North America in Houston, TX is seeking a maintenance technician to support our smart security lanes and conveyor systems. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate downtime with external partners to minimize impact on operations.

The role requires the ability to read schematics, work with PLCs and IO devices, and maintain safety standards under time-sensitive conditions.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with BHS, heavy equipment or industrial machines maintenance and repair.
  • 1+ years of schematic/diagram reading and equipment diagnostics.
  • 1+ years of preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
  • Flexibility with work hours and days (24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation including holidays).
  • Position may be required to be on-call, including holidays and weekends.
  • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issue with smart security lanes conveyor systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and tests.
  • Respond to downtime incidents and provided essential repairs in a timely manner.
  • Use schematics in conjunction with physical equipment for diagnostics.
