Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Installer to support large-scale material handling and conveyor projects across the continental United States. The role covers layout, pre-assembly, installation, and run-in of conveyor equipment including steel structures, platforms, guardrails, racks, and air piping.

Candidates should have 1–5 years of hands-on installation experience, the ability to read engineered drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience installing or maintaining conveyor equipment.
• Ability to read engineered drawings and follow layouts.
• Willingness to travel 100% across the continental US.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems.
• Install overhead beams, elevated walkways, and structural steel.
• Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping.
• Interpret drawings and assembly instructions to implement plans.
• Adhere to safety procedures and LOTO protocols.
• Keep tools and work areas organized and safe.
• Travel extensively across the U.S.
• Handle jobsite tasks including lifting at least 50 lbs.
