Job summary

ASGCO® “Complete Conveyor Solutions” in Marriottsville, MD is seeking Field Service Technicians to install, service and repair conveyor belts and components at industrial sites. The role requires hands-on mechanical ability and the willingness to travel to job sites across industrial plants.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
Reliable transportation/ Active Driver's License.
Very Hands-on mechanically.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Ability to travel.
Effective communication is required.
Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently.
Underground and surface work with required certifications may be needed.
Overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requires.

Responsibilities

Install new, change out, repair or splice conveyor belt.
Demonstrate proper safe use of handling of tools, equipment and materials.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Follow instructions under Crew Lead to cover all job aspects and avoid delays.
Ensure equipment is maintained and work areas are clean and hazard-free.
Participate in Conveyor Technician training programs for advancement.
Be willing and able to work on-call, including dayshift, nightshift and weekends.
Comply with all policies in Employee Handbook.
