Applied Industrial Technologies in Omaha seeks a Belt Technician to customize and repair belts and rubber components to customer specifications, either in-house or at customer sites. You will receive extensive training and ongoing feedback to help you grow with the company and meet personal goals.

You will work with a team to install, vulcanize, verify parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area. The role requires basic math/computer skills, a strong mechanical mindset, and clear communication.

Competenze

• 1+ year proven experience in field service, maintenance, or hands-on work.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Up to 20% travel away from home, including overnight.
• Maintenance or belt tech experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Build and repair belts and rubber components.
• Install and vulcanize lightweight and heavyweight belting.
• Receive/verify parts and maintain stock; prepare sales orders.
• Pickup and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
• Fabricate, install and repair conveyors and rubber products.
• Maintain safety and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Detect and report defective equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Observe safety rules and regulations.
