Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler Automation 1 to replenish product on semi-automated conveyors and correct system errors. You will manually build orders and tear down orders returned to the plant, while maintaining production pace and a safe, clean work environment.

The role emphasizes operating in a fast-paced setting with hands-on responsibilities, using PIT equipment as needed, and adhering to UNITED safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• PPE compliance with safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Conversational English understanding and communication (not necessarily fluent)
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance
• Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets
• Ability to use company resources and technology
• Climb up to 24 ft of stairs

Responsibilities

• Place correct product on conveyor in semi-automated lanes as released by system
• Resolve alarms in pick areas and report opportunities via handheld radio
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, pallets or bins by product code
• Coordinate replenishment needs with responsible parties
• Replenish pallet pick and flow rack zones
• Manually build new orders and sort/replenish returns in HQS zones
