Job summary

UnitedUnited is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Picker at our Albany, GA location. You will pick multiple products, label boxes, and prepare items for shipment according to order labels in a fast-paced environment.

You will meet productivity goals daily, follow safety procedures, and maintain accurate records. Experience with electric pallet jacks or forklifts is preferred, and the role may involve working in varied temperatures and conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Six months of experience in a similar position strongly preferred.
• Experience operating electric pallet jack and forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place labels on boxes in the order received.
• Accurately distinguish product descriptions and item numbers at a fast pace.
• Verbally communicate inventory levels to the Warehouse Area Manager when stock is low.
• Safely operate the conveyor line and shut it down in emergencies.
• Keep records to ensure inventory control and stock rotation.
• Assist with physical inventories as required.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report safety or mechanical problems in writing.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe facility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Conveyable Picker is responsible for picking multiple products and preparing the items for shipment according to order labels, and preparing and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

He or she meets standard productivity goals daily and appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure workplace.

Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned according to the assigned work station.

Qualifications
