Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate for its Winchester, VA plant. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, attention to safety and quality, and the ability to perform routine tasks on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities include keeping records, assisting on the line, and helping with housekeeping and sanitation. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime is expected.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Possess basic mechanical aptitude.
• Perform basic arithmetic functions.
• Complete routine written documentation.
• Understand the importance of housekeeping / sanitation requirements.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and utilize idle time to assist co-mechanics on the line.
• Routinely feed materials to several pieces of equipment, general housekeeping, documentation, and basic quality inspections.

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
• Exhibits safety and quality as top priority.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment, both as an independent contributor and as a team player

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ability to walk up and down stairs / platforms.Ability to climb ladders (to include rolling ladders), up to 20ft to perform work. Working Conditions Ø Manufacturing plant environment that is not temperature controlled. Ø While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be exposed to lifting, moving machinery, and forklift traffic.
