Job summary

Revolution is hiring for multiple Conversion Operator roles in Vernon, CA. These 12-hour shifts run 4-5 days per week, with overtime opportunities and shift differential plus benefits and PTO.

You will prepare, operate, and maintain roll-feed, working with Packers to ensure product quality and meet special requests. The role requires standing 8-12 hours, with 1-2 years of machinery experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of running machinery experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
• Essential reading and writing skills.
• Must be able to stand 8-12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Reads job cards to confirm specifications and that production and machine match and are ready to run.
• Operates equipment and tools; coordinates maintenance and repairs of conversion equipment as needed.
• Collaborates with Packers/Production Assistants to pack bags, move pallets, and unload boxes.
• Communicates changes or flagged rolls to Packers/Production Assistants.
• Performs routine safety and function checks on machines; reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Maintenance.
• Monitors daily machine operation to ensure production quality.
• Threads film through rollers on the conversion machine.

Job description

Revolution is now hiring for multiple Conversion Operator positions in Vernon, CA. This position is a 12-hour shift, 4-5 days a week, with the potential for overtime. The role will be responsible for preparing, operating, and maintaining roll-feed. This position will work with the Packer to ensure that the product quality and special requests are met.

• Reads and understands a job card calls out specifications and confirms that the production card and product on the machine is the same and ready to run.
• Operates a variety of equipment and vehicles; utilizing a variety of hand tools as required; arrange for the routine maintenance and repair of conversion equipment as needed.
• Works closely with Packers and or Production Assistants, assisting with packing bags, moving pallets and the unloading of boxes.
• Communicates effectively with Packers and Production Assistants of any changes or when rolls are flagged.
• Performs routine checks on machine to make sure it is safe and functioning properly; reports any unsafe condition(s) of machine to the Supervisor and Maintenance.
• Monitors the daily operation of the machine by ensuring that the product is effectively produced.
• Threads film through rollers on conversion machine.

California Pay Transparency: Base Range $17.50 -$18.00/hour + Overtime + Shift Differential + Benefits + PTO
