Job summary

Principal Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Conventional Stamping Operator for 1st shift in Broadview, IL. You will set up and operate stamping equipment and report production data.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read measuring tools, and basic computer skills. Forklift certification is a plus, and Spanish/English bilingualism is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data into ERP.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• 6 months of conventional stamping experience.
• Forklift certification is required or already obtained.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts on machinery and maintain/clean equipment per PMC standards.
• Examine parts for defects and ensure first piece inspection is approved.
• Operate and adjust equipment to follow work procedures.
• Report production information to supervisor and update ERP system.
• Meet production schedule and follow supervisor instructions within allotted time.
• Read measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify tolerances.

Conventional Stamping Operator

Principal Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Conventional Stamping Operator for 1st shift to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.

The stamping operator will setting up and operate conventional stamping equipment and systems. Reports required data and maintain production schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload parts on machinery and maintain and or clean equipment according to PMC standards.


• Examine parts to identify defects and variations from blueprints and ensure Quality approves the first piece inspection for production.


• Operate and adjust equipment to maintain proper work procedures.


• Report accurate production information to supervisor and in ERP System.


• Maintain and efficiently perform production assignment/ expectations from Supervisor within allotted time period per the production schedule, while following work instructions.


• Demonstrated ability to read measuring equipment i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.


• Understands necessary tools and instructions to ensure quality of work.
