Job summary

ATI is seeking a CNC Machinist at its Coon Valley, WI facility to produce aerospace and military components to high safety and quality standards.

You will set up and operate CNC machines, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while following strict documentation practices and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension.
• The ability to read instructions and perform simple measurements is critical.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; machining certificate or prior CNC machining experience welcome.
• 1 year of experience in a transferrable industry with transferrable skills.

Responsibilities

• Raw material incoming visual inspection.
• Performing manufacturing operations on CNC lathes.
• Machining parts to meet tolerances for final inspection.
• Inspecting and cleaning the finished product at the end of the production cycle.
• Product final inspection.
• Working closely with manufacturing leadership and fellow team members to achieve shared goals.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Accurate completion of required documentation.

Our Coon Valley location plays a vital role in ATI’s Forged Products division by producing aerospace, jet engine and military components that meet the quality, reliability and safety standards of ATI and our customers.

We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Coon Valley team. This position produces components by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, meeting ATI’s high safety and quality standards and maintaining equipment and supplies. A successful CNC machinist is safety-focused, a problem solver and understands the importance of precision and quality.

The person in this position will work 2nd shift 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday. Training may be conducted on 1st or 2nd shift. Compensation for this role is $25/hr

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
